WHAT IS POETRY?

Poetry [True poetry] is the most powerful influence on the world. Explosive changing the world and/or keeping its fragile balance. Poetry is stronger than politics! The hidden life-giving heat thinking! Huge speed of free movements. May be the last hope of the world (plus appropriate practice, of course). Poetry as ultimate magic! Summa summarum. Paraphrasing: «Poetry is the overthrow of society.» (Kenneth Grant).


IS THERE A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A POEM AND A SONG?

Yes, that’s a big difference. Poetry is primary music itself. Beyond the beyond! The enlightened synthesis of all mantras at once. Overlucid moment! Poetry should change the creator very much as such. It is always the maximum risk. Poetry is the most extreme/utter metamorphosis of Freedom! Absolute mutation of the rebellious soul. That’s why the poet is always damned by any society. His imperative: «Be free even in Absolute Freedom!» (Azsacra Zarathustra).



WHEN DID YOU FIRST KNOW THAT YOU WERE A POET?

It happened when I saw (suddenly!) free flying birds one day. That is, I unexpectedly realized, «Nous sommes des oiseaux de passage, demain nous serons loin.» («We are birds of passage, tomorrow we will be far away.») Poetry is always a free lightning that cannot be stopped. Lightning stroke! Is it useless to revolt? An answer: «The struggle itself towards the heights is enough to fill a man’s heart.» (Albert Camus, The Myth of Sisyphus).


WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE THOSE WHO WANT TO BE POETS?

Be incredibly brave, above all else. What we love out of depth still needs to be able to protect hard specifically (in reality!). But at this time, the poet also must learn to attack from the most dizzying heights as an angel. The poet always flies inside the bottomless abyss! Without support. Without hopes. He is always is a damned poet. «Nihil as NihillihiN!» (Azsacra Zarathustra) Or, in other words: «Annihilation is the invaluable sumptuousness!» (Georges Bataille).



HOW MANY LANGUAGES DO YOU WRITE POETRY WITH?

Generally, for the poet it is very important to write at once in many languages. Thus spoke Ezra Pound. Poetry is the freedom to flow/overflow in all languages. This inevitably enhances linguistic synthesis and stylistic mutations of poetry per se. I write in [many languages], English, German. A little in Hindi and French. But here, in languages, you should always remember following: «All my life I believe I knew something. But then one strange day came when I realized that I knew nothing, yes, I knew nothing. And so words became void of meaning. I have arrived too late at ultimate uncertainty.» (Ezra Pound).


DO YOU HAVE A WRITERS SCHEDULE?

No. I don ‘t have any «a writers schedule.» My poetry and my conceptual photographs are prohibited. I as an independent poet and free performer am constantly persecuted. Repression follows repression. I was deprived by works. But I gamely and bravely resist it. I am very strong both as an independent poet and as a free street fighter (laughs) I always keep it in my head: «A slave is one who waits for someone to come and free him.» (Ezra Pound).



WHAT ELSE DO YOU WRITE BESIDES POETRY?

I have some philosophical texts about the rebel/restless void and mystical freedom. Thinking about the tragic death of every free beautiful body under at conditions of dictatorship. I also create movies! I work alongside a very complicated thinker — Azsacra. Very and very complex thinking par excellence! Our films are not for a wide audience. They change «familiar perceptions» of the world. We blow up brains!


ARE YOU ALSO A PAINTER? PHOTOGRAPHER?

I participated as an actress in the cruelty theatre Azsacra. Conceptual photos also. We continue to develop further philosophical ideas of the Theatre of Cruelty Antonin Artaud. Because: «Artaud wanted to ‘reject form and incite chaos.» (Lee Jamieson) Everything I do is extreme freedom. The most free freedom! Like at Charlie Chaplin (laughs again). Choose freedom, not hate.



WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE MOVIES?

I love movies where the main characters are very compound and unpredictable. The action of the film must always be unexpected. The film should be hunting the viewer. Cinema as a Weapon! But without spite as such! Simply experimental spirituality with absolute trauma and very light poetical demonism. Why? Every filmmaker always needs to remember: «The cinema, too, has to be destroyed!» (Guy Debord).


FAVORITE MUSIC?

At daybreak (early!) singing real live birds. Factual noiseless flash of real lightning here is. Near. Here it is: clap of thunder! And lightning again! I love music without music. Sudden absolute silence. And only after that, then the classical music of Bach and Beethoven. I also love the tragic music of Jim Morrison and my wonderful American, slightly gloomy, friends, namely: Goatcraft and Luminous At Core.


FAVORITE POETS?

All damned poets. All rebellious poets. And accordingly: — dead poets! Tragic poets in mutinous infinity… There is no universally recognized, orthodox literary poetry, there are only always new and new damned poets. In India, therefore, they say this: «Katya Ganeshi is new Indian Baudelaire»The ultimate truth for any time, for every historical era is: «Other horrible workers will come!» (Arthur Rimbaud).



RECOMMEND FAVORITE BOOKS.

All the most heretical Zarathustra’s speeches (laughs again). Deleuze’s «Rhizome». «Orgon» of Wilhelm Reich. Baudrillard’s «anti-matrix». «Mutual Aid» of KropotkinAll, without exception, rebellious texts of freedom. This list can continue indefinitely!.. We (right now!) already have everything necessary to change the world towards compassion, love and justice.


DO YOU HAVE A WRITING «STUDIO»?

No. I have nothing in today’s repressive [culture]. Our (with Azsaсra) legendary Center for Help to Wounded Birds («Wounded Wild Bird Rescue») has been destroyed by the local administration with assistance of police… My hometown  persecutes and hates me. I am stuck in the void between two ruthless points — the past and the future. Without any present as such. In other words: «Dust I am: Nothing with Nothing…» (T. S. Eliot).
